A message from our CEO

September 18, 2020

To our valued members,

The year 2020 has been marked by many events that we will not forget for a very long time – the worldwide pandemic, the crushing blows to our economy, wildfires, and droughts – the list could go on and on.  But we are a resilient community and, by working together, we will get through this.  And HOCU continues to serve as a constant throughout the changing times for our members and their families.

We restarted our notary public and medallion signature guaranty services last month but ask that you call the credit union at 777-5646 to make an appointment (these services cannot be guaranteed for walk-in requests).

Our annual meeting, which was postponed in March, will now be conducted in a virtual format.  More information will be announced soon; if you are interested in attending (via telephone or Zoom), please mark your calendar for Friday, November 27th at 10:00 AM.

HOCU is continuing our participation in the City’s Small Business Relief and Recovery Fund program; if you have a small business or know someone who is a business owner, please go to oneoahu.org for further details on obtaining grants to reimburse incurred expenses.

And with the continuing COVID-19 cases in our community, we ask that you help us by observing the protective measures in place at our branches.  If you have any symptoms of the pandemic, please refrain from visiting us until you are well again – to protect your friends and neighbors.

Finally, please take care of yourselves and your families.  These are very difficult times that have impacted everyone, some greater than others, but HOCU is here to help you with your financial needs.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Mahalo!
